The North American Obstacle Racing Championships is proud to partner with the Stratton Foundation as the “Official Charity Partner of the 2018 North American Obstacle Course Racing Championships.” As part of this new partnership, a portion of proceeds from Sunday’s Charity Run during championships weekend will be used to support the Stratton Foundation’s mission to improve the lives of impoverished families in the local area.

“We are honored to partner with the Stratton Foundation for our charity event at the North American Obstacle Course Racing Championships,” said Adrian Bijanada, Founder & CEO of Adventurey. “We are honored to be able to give back to local Stratton community and help change the lives of may children and families.”

The Stratton Foundation was formed to support local non-profit organizations that enhance opportunities for all working, living, and playing in the mountain community. Since its inception in 1996, the foundation has raised and contributed over $600,000 in grants to local organizations. Programs have included scholarships for first-generation college students, backpack food programs for young students, and dental programs for those unable to afford dental healthcare.

“We are excited to partner with the North American Obstacle Course Race Championships at Stratton and honored to be recognized for our mission to change lives for children living in generational poverty,” said Tammy Mosher, Executive Director of the Stratton Foundation.

The North American Obstacle Course Racing Championships will wrap up the weekend of racing with the Stratton Foundation Charity Open Run at 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 12, 2018. Open to all with no qualification requirement, the unique 7-kilometer course allows everyone to test their skills and all participants will receive a Stratton Foundation medal and t-shirt to commemorate the event.
