The following Divisions are available for the individual 3K (August 10) & 15K (August 11) events:
- Men & Women Pro
- Men & Women Age Group
- Men & Women Journeyman (complete ANY three obstacle races between August 10, 2017 and August 1, 2018 to compete)
15k age groups are as follows: 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50+
3k age groups are as follows: 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
Athletes racing the 15k event are required to collect their race packets onsite on Friday, August 10 between 9AM-9PM.
Age Group athletes compete in their Age Group division based on their age on race day. Additionally, athletes must compete in the same divisions across different events (e.g. if an athlete races Pro in the 3K, they must also race Pro in the 15K).
TEAM RELAY, August 12 – No Qualification Required
Teams consist of three athletes racing in relay format on a course specially designed course in four separate legs – each one targeting a key discipline of OCR: speed, strength, technique, and teamwork. Athletes are encouraged to strategically devise teams based on these key disciplines.
The following divisions are available:
- Pro Men, Women & Co-ed (one female minimum)
- Open Men, Women & Co-ed (one female minimum)
STRATTON FOUNDATION CHARITY OPEN, August 12 – No Qualification Required
Curious how you can stack up on a course created for the best in North and Central America? Run a special 7-kilometer course to test your skills and raise funds for The Stratton Foundation! No qualification is required for this special event. Held on Sunday, August 12, starting at 1pm, with same-day packet pickup available.
Every participant receives:
- Entry into The Stratton Foundation Open
- An exclusive Stratton Foundation medal
- An exclusive Stratton Foundation t-shirt
The Stratton Foundation is a community-based nonprofit that cares about southern Vermont, by providing financial support to programs that address the challenges of poverty, and directly to families that experience an incidence of emergency or natural disaster.
Athletes must be citizens or legal residents of North America or Central America to be eligible to compete.
