The North American Obstacle Course Racing Championships has signed Hoo-rag as their official and exclusive 2018 bandana partner; expanding the relationship first established at the United States Obstacle Course Racing Championships in 2017. The partnership will enable Hoo-rag to reach athletes from North and Central America, with competitors from over 20 nations set to compete in the championship event this summer at Stratton Mountain, Vermont.

“Stretch them, scrunch them, twist them, fold them — high-performing and versatile microfiber Hoo-rag bandanas keep athletes protected from the elements and comfortably dry,” said Sandra Sawyer, Partnership Director for Adventurey LLC, creators of the North American Obstacle Course Racing Championships. “With the perfect combination of durability and style, we couldn’t be more thrilled that Hoo-rag will be the exclusive bandana of the 2018 North American Obstacle Course Racing Championships, and we can’t wait to unveil the exclusive design.”

As part of the partnership, each competitor at the North American Obstacle Course Racing Championships will receive a commemorative Hoo-rag bandana. Only available to competitors at the event, last year’s limited edition US Championship Hoo-rags quickly became collector items for many obstacle racing enthusiasts and professional racers from across the nation. This year’s design will once again solely be available to athletes participating on race weekend.

“Hoo-rag is synonymous with meeting obstacles and adventure head-on,” said Hoo-rag Relationship Manager Veronica Halverson. “We encourage every Hoo-rag customer to chase their personal adventure. With this in mind, we are pleased to support the North American OCR Championships for the second year in a row. We’re excited to see how these athletes forge new memories because they dared to chase their dreams.”

The exclusive limited edition Hoo-rag designed for the athletes of the North American Obstacle Course Racing Championship will be revealed in the upcoming months. The North American Obstacle Racing Championships is set to take place August 10-12, 2018 in the iconic Green Mountains of Vermont at Stratton Mountain Resort.
